Question: Passenger side head gasket replacement

There is a TSB about this problem. My head gasket leak is on the passenger side only. Drips on the header and you smell it when the car's not moving. Looking for a shop that has experience with this job.

    The engine can indeed have external engine oil leaks - however, they tend to leak inward into the valley between the two cylinder banks. Then, the oil collects and runs out the back. It hypothetically could leak out the sides as well, as you have described, but much less likely. Have your rocker arm covers checked for leaks; do a leak test overall to verify any leak before deferring to a TSB that may or may not be valid for your car.
