1996 Oldsmobile Aurora Question: Parking lights stay on

 Rookie

If I pull the 20 amp fuse for the trunk located under the back seat they go out but then I can not open the fuel door or the trunk

    The fuse likely is supplying power to the trunk and fuel filler door as well.

    Does this mean there is a bad actuator switch in the trunk or is it a wiring problem???

    Trunk cylinder lock also was punched out around the same time time problem happened??

    I would take a good look at the damage around the cylinder lock, you may find some wires that are damaged.

    i pulled the pk light fuse under the back seat and ran a wire from it to the blinker fuse on the driver side of the dash, because the blinkers only have power when the key is on, so the park lights come on and go off with the key now
