Units with 4 wheel disk brakes may develop at situation where the park brake does not hold as it should. Our technicians tell us this can be caused by worn park brake shoes located inside the drum section of the rear brake disks. The worn shoes should be replaced and properly adjusted to correct this issue.

If vehicle sits out for long periods of time, Brake shoes are also known to rust to inside of drum, therefore when you release brake, they do not release fully and as the truck moves it can snap the shoes right off of the metal shoe retaining bracket. Happened to mine twice
I dont know why but my parking break dose not hold is there an adjustment that can be made?
