Started night before last. Turned corner, no power, lights on. Turned it off. One hour later, no problems. Drove call all day next day and late yest. eve, same problem but now it is becoming where I have had to stop x 2 to get home across town? The motor oil changing place applied detector and it said P2135 throttle/pedal position sensor switch A/B Voltage correction. I am a female and have no manual to refer to. Also saturday and no repair places open. What to do and am I damaging it driving it. Of course it keeps losing power so dangerous to drive on highway? Thanks for any advice. I live in Houston, Tx

I don't think anything would be damaged by driving when the the fault occurs, but I'd be concerned that there's a safety issue in driving a car that loses power. The trouble code you describe probably indicates a failing throttle position sensor. The best thing to do is get a Jaguar specialist to check it out to be sure if it's the sensor itself, but it probably is, I'd think. I don't think you'll find a parts supplier on Saturday unless the Jag dealer parts dept. is open, which I doubt.
Word to the wise: An 'oil changer' place may not be using the best filters or oil because of the price savings with the cheaper products. This is my personal prejudice, but I think the quality of oil and filters is a premium as far as your engine is concerned. If they can show you that their products are the best available for your Jaguar, that's different.

Thanks. I had it towed yest. to Jaguar place and will find out Monday the diagnosis? I usually use their best synthetic oil at the place? Not sure about the filter. Thanks for your help. Will let ya know what the outcome is. I took very good Warranty out with this when I bought it too and hoping the money will have been well spent if it covers these repairs !!
