Question
Engine light appears on the dash panel, I get a code P332 when I test it with a small hand held.
The sienna has 95K miles, could that code represent time for new plugs? / knock sensor? (how many knock sensors on this model how do you determine what sensor is bad if more than one)
The Sienna still runs like usual which is very good, so any imput would be appreciated.

You are a digit short. There should be a four digit number after the letter P.
Is it P0332? Could you confirm it?

sorry, PO332 my hand held leaves off the zero.

P0332 means "knock sensor low input - bank 2". This would appear to have an issue with the vehicle's knock sensor, or wiring related to it. The knock sensor seeks to detect spark knock from the engine so that it can advise the engine's processor to adjust engine timing as necessary for optimum performance and proper spark detonation. If the sensor has failed, it can hinder the engine's processor's ability to control timing properly.
You should have 2 knock sensors - bank one and bank two.

This code PO332 alert has me puzzled because I feel no lack of performace in the car, it still has the get up and go as it always had.
However the car now has 95K miles on it (surprised that plugs are expected to last for 100K from my readings) so perhaps this is an advance warning to change the plugs.

Sensors and or wiring can fail (obviously). The thing to remember is that this code is a "low input" issue which means more of an electrical issue rather than an indication of improper engine performance. I would clear the code, personally, and see if it reoccurs. If it does, then you obviously have something going on there. Keep in mind, you have a bank 1 and bank 2 sensor - having this code won't necessarily cause a performance issue. You're typically not going to have a wide swing in timing adjustment during regular driving and regular normal fuel fill up. If you suddenly went with a poor grade fuel or extremely high octane fuel, you may notice a problem with the engine's ability to cope with the changes.
Certainly, plugs are in order at that mileage...but this is not a related code or issue.
