2005 Chevrolet Impala Question: p0301 cylinder 1 misfire

topdetox, 3.4L V6, Denver, CO, August 20, 2010, 22:10
 Rookie

Had the same code about 6-8 months ago, changed plugs and wires and it worked fine. Came on again today same code. When I sart it it will run rough for a minute or so and smoothes out. On the same note the gas gauge is either not working right or my mileage went up

    Check the spark plug wires to see if any may have burned on the manifold or Have you checked the coils to see if the spark is strong in each one?
