I have a 2000 Eurovan with a V6 OBD2 scan code of p0300 (random misfire). Also, a " Fuel System 1 , Closed Loop-fault". What does this mean? Thanks.

Thanks for the information.
It is helpful and I will follow up on it. I did not find anything about the " Fuel System 1 , Closed Loop-fault" though. Does anyone know what this means? Is it the Fuel pump, filter, regulator, lines, and return lines only? What is the "closed loop"? Thanks.

"Closed Loop" is referring to when the system is warmed up and using the oxygen sensor signals to make small adjustments to the fuel mixture.
Open Loop" is when the engine is cold and it operates on a pre-set fuel mixture, as the engine and oxygen sensors heat up they can use this feedback loop, or closed loop to constantly monitor the fuel mixture settings and make adjustments.
I haven't seen this specific fault before, what is the code that goes with that description?
