I had a belt replaced because it squeaked from time to time, especially when wet. Unfortunately, the replacement belt squeaked WORSE than the old one! So back I go. They said the belt was "on warranty" so I would not have to pay. Since it had been only a week, I felt the belt was not the problem, but the installation might be. But I said fine, just replace it. And the mechanic did so. HOWEVER, this belt has squeaked off and on ever since.Far worse and more frequently than the old one. PLUS after he reset the idle, it has never idled correctly. Sounds like it is about to die. Anyway, I have had a death in my family, a terrible unexpected death of a 36 year old wife and mother. I have not had the time or inclination to return to P&M to complain, and by now I am certain they will attempt to charge me for the work that was not done correctly in the first place. Or in the second place, for that matter. I will likely make an appointment with a different company. Oh, and I am handicapped. I find it amazing that after 2 visits, P&M did not bother to vacuum or wash my car after they worked on it. Just bad customer service. They used to do much better.
