I brought a used car in to P&M for a pre-purchase inspection. Among many dishonest "flags" noted on my invoice (of which some I trusted you on and had you fix) was a note that the transmision fluid needed flushing. The fluid was and still is as pink as can be. Another was an oil leak marked as "dripping" when, in reality, it was hardly seeping.
Good service, honest diagnosis, friendly staff, in and out in less than a day from an AAA towing emergency.

I had a belt replaced because it squeaked from time to time, especially when wet. Unfortunately, the replacement belt squeaked WORSE than the old one! So back I go. They said the belt was "on warranty" so I would not have to pay. Since it had been only a week, I felt the belt was not the problem, but the installation might be. But I said fine, just replace it. And the mechanic did so. HOWEVER, this belt has squeaked off and on ever since.Far worse and more frequently than the old one. PLUS after he reset the idle, it has never idled correctly. Sounds like it is about to die. Anyway, I have had a death in my family, a terrible unexpected death of a 36 year old wife and mother. I have not had the time or inclination to return to P&M to complain, and by now I am certain they will attempt to charge me for the work that was not done correctly in the first place. Or in the second place, for that matter. I will likely make an appointment with a different company. Oh, and I am handicapped. I find it amazing that after 2 visits, P&M did not bother to vacuum or wash my car after they worked on it. Just bad customer service. They used to do much better.
I brought the car in for an oil change and alignment. The alignment was performed at no charge because I had recently had work completed by P&M on the shocks and struts.
I have always received great service with any repairs done right the first visit.

Took pickup in suspecting problem with starter. They checked it out and said there was no problem. Drove home and parked. Next day tried to start and nothing happened. Had a mobile mechanic come to my home and change starter in my driveway. Pickup starts every time now!
Have had multiple vehicles inspected, never have they been able to tell me what was wrong. One time the vehicle was simply out of gas and they still charged me hundreds of dollars and didn't not know what was wrong.
The staff communicated exactly what they were going to do before they started working on my car, while it was being worked on and after the service was complete. They also found multiple problems that my former mechanic did not find.
