California and federal emission systems are different. Your truck should have two sensors the rear O2 sensor is under the truck in the exhaust system under the passenger seat area on the inboard side of the exhaust. The front O2 sensor is in the exhaust system but I don't have a clear image. It has 4 wires going to it. Black/white, black/red being the colors of two of the wires going to the sensor. At the sensor they change colors two of which are probably black, one white and one blue.

I had an oxygen sensor issue that caused the check engine light to come on repeatedly. It would stay on intermittently. Also, when I got the vehicle inspected they told me that the dashboard indicator light for my parking brake was out.

I bought an oxygen sensor to replace (Bank2 sensor1) which was shown on the computer.
I solved all of my problems by simply jiggling the old O2 sensor wire a little. I guess it was loose. Didn't even need a sensor.
Not only did check engine light go off, the parking brake light now works as well.
Go to your local auto parts store and ask where the O2 sensor is, then check that it is not loose. I have still had no trouble with it 6 months later.
