2000 Hyundai Accent Q&A

2000 Hyundai Accent Question: oxygen sensors

i have a 00 hyundai accent with 42000 miles on it i have to replace the oxygen sensors every year around sticker time can anyone help im going nuts trying to figure this one out thanks -

I'm suspicious your car may be burning a bit too much oil and it's affecting the O2 sensors. A little coolant being consumed wil do the same thing. If you let the oil get really dirty or have a thermostat problem and the engine is runniing too cool, it could be hard on O2 sensors, too. Sorry I can't tell you more but hopefully I helped some. -
