Question: overheating

i changed the thermostat and flushed was really muddy n nasty,was told it may be relay switch, when i checked the engine one of tbhe fans where not moving and overheats mostly when the car is moving slowing or not moving.

    Both fans should work Some cars have a dedicated fan for the ac request so with ac on all fans should work This car is prone to intake leaking and head gasket slightly blown enough to up the temp and use a little water but gets worse after repeated driving .fix fans first, relay or fan motor
