2000 Honda S2000 Question: overheating

 Rookie

The car is overheating but I have no heat in the car. The no heat would cause me to think its the thermostat, but it doesn't explain why It's over heating?

    it does sound like the thermostat. if it sticks closed, it locks the coolant in the block and has no way to cool down.
