overheating on 2001 Cadillac Seville STS

my cadillac sts started overheating ever since i changed the thermostat it"s been overheating abnormally,first themostat i changed since i owned the vehicle about a year ago,

I know this sounds like a silly question but are you sure that you put the thermostat in correctly. If you did you could have an air pocket in the cooling system. I would see what the bleed procedure is for your vehicle. Neil Bilodeau SAF-T Auto Centers Wallingford, CT 06492
