Question: Overheating

My landrover started to overheat and the fluids were leaking. After investigation it seemed the thermostat housing was split. After repair it is still overheating. The fan cuts on but seems to be after it is too late.

    the fact that it overheated repeatedly has maybe done internal damage to the motor. have a hyrocarbon check done to the cooling system at a shop.
