1997 Ford Taurus Question: overheating
It would appear that your coolant is not circulating fast enough or you fans are not working as they should. Firstly, does you engine cooling fan come on when you turn on the A/C because it should. Then does you cooling fan cycle on and off with out the A/C on when the engine is getting really warm? Both of these things have to work properly or you will have your problem When you drive the vehicle the increased air flow acts like a cooling fan on your radiator. - dandd
