overheating on 2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette

having trouble with overheating while under any kind of load. Hills, acceleration, wind, etc. Is it just the thermostat or has this year and model had other issues

has nothing to do with the car, has to do with servicing. it has to be maintanined to give you good service. take it to a shop and have the rad flow tested and there reccomendations as to your next step Roy

not yet hoses to engine need replacing slight leak but engine does not indicate overheating onr repair shop said engine would have to be remove order to replace hoses

The water pump may develop a coolant leak resulting in an engine overheating condition.
A coolant leak may develop from the water pump. The engine may overheat as a result of the coolant loss. A leaking water pump should be replaced.
