I have had this problem before and flushing and refilling the tranny seemed to "fix" it. Now it's back and I need to invest in the repair. Everything I've read indicates that it's *probably* the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid. My question really is the nature of the part. I have found this solenoid on Autozone and it's pretty cheap. But I have been told that these solenoids are in a package or kit that is not user-serviceable and is replaced as a unit, rather than a single solenoid. Any helpful information will be much appreciated!

That is a Torque Convertor Clutch code; Could be a sticky switch for lock up, have helped some by adding some BG Transmission Conditioner, if the switch itself or connection to it are not bad.
