overdrive off dash light flashes rapidly and a hard shift from 2nd to 3rd.

    you need to have the code pulled for the failure. then you can decide what to do. the trans is all electronically controlled and probably has a bad soloniod somewhere.

    A known problem with the 5R55W tranny, possible causes, broken intermmediate band or 2-3 Pressure control solenoid malfunction
