Question: Overdrive

 Rookie

When I start up and shift into "drive" the Overdrive off light comes on. I am unable to turn thr OD on by the button on the end of the shifter. I have to either shift it into neutral and back into drive and then push the button or wiggle the lever up and down.

    It may have a wiring problem in the shifter handle causing the concern. Are you able to get overdrive after messing with the shifter? We would could take a look at it if you want to bring it in. Give me a call to schedule a time.

    Yes. Everytime. That is why I think it must be a loose wire or a failing switch.
