2001 Lincoln Navigator Question: over-ride anti theft

 Rookie

my battery went dead yeasterday, replaced battery today, truck cranks over but wont start. anti-theft lights continuously on. how do i override it without takin into a dealer?

    The anti theft light SHOULD be solid when you crank. If it is flashing, you have an issue.

    Solid anti theft light and a crank no start -- you have to check for fuel and spark to see what you may be missing.

    You cannot override the factory anti theft. It is built into the engine processor.
