Question: our dome light doesn't come on when door is opened

the dome light comes on when we manually turn on but not when door is opened to get in car

    Does it come on when either front door is opened? Try operating the switch in the rear of the front door jamb by hand rapidly several times. perhaps spray electrical cleaner into the switch as you operate the switch. Try removing the switch and cleaning it.
