We have found the team of technicians at Orinda Motors to be a very qualified and experienced group, most of whom have been working together for many years. Three of the four technicians are ASE certified, with two having achieved ASE Master Technician status. This shop has also demonstrated to us a commitment to ongoing technician training, which we value very highly. Orinda Motors is located in an area populated by many other businesses. If you need transportation after dropping off your vehicle, they offer a shuttle service and rental cars. Should you decide to wait, wireless internet access is available in their comfy waiting room. Their express oil change and tire center is open on Saturdays from 9 to 4pm.

Orinda Motors Inc. is the only facility in the greater east bay that offers all repair and maintenance services for Cars, Light Trucks and SUVs along with a complete menu of amenities. Orinda Motors Inc. is a Certified Green Business, has received small business of the year awards from the city of Orinda as well as the State of California and been voted Best Mechanic in the East Bay. We are AAA Approved, Diamond Certified and Value Star Rated. Orinda Motors Inc. belongs to the Better Business Bureau and ASCCA. All of our technicians are ASE certified, three are Master Technicians and all receive extensive, mandatory, ongoing training. In addition we have rental cars on-site (complimentary for extensive repairs or service), a shuttle service, and a while-you wait, drive-through Express Oil Change and Tire Center.

I think they are expensive. I go to them because it's convenient. Sometimes I worry that they find every little thing and so I have to ask them: "what would you do on your car?" because they could come up with 4000 things to do on my car and if it's not a safety issue, I probably don't want to do it. I have had to ask them for that a couple of times. They are nice guys. They support the community, which I appreciate, and I will continue to go there because they are convenient.
