Question: one stuck power window

Rookie
my rear passenger power window is stuck down, it will not go up or down from the drivers control panel but will occasionally go further down with rear passenger control but not up.
all the other windows are fine. Is there a DIY solution?

MasterThe window motor may be failing. Try having someone slam the RR door while operating the window switch, this will often get the motor to start working again (temporarily) If this works, then the motor likely needs replacement.

Visitor, November 13, 2010, 14:35Replyi had a broken wire between the pillar and the rear door. in the little boot between the door and body. another jeep had the same problem months later.
