Question: On my dash board I get a code saying "theft system problem car may not restart

Question

It started about 6 months ago but the car still cranks and runs fine just the code pops up every 15 mins

    Hello it seems to me that you are having a problem with the v.a.t.s. {vehicle anti-theft system}this may be the chip in the ignition key losing the correct resist.to match the anti-theft control module or the ignition key lock cylinder and wire connection is failing and soon the vehicle may not crank at all.I recommend to address this asap with a locksmith or see the dealer.
