How expensive are the maintenance and repair costs for the 1996 Olds 88 LS, given that this is a discontinued model line? What do you think of mechanical reliability especially the engine (gasket leaks) and transmission? Does this car take regular or premium gasoline? And what is the gas mileage like in the city? |

Instrument panel is not working. No gas or oil gauge, no warning lights when u turn the key, nothing. Since the instrument panel does not light the car will not stay started. Up til today, the car has had the normal maintenance, tires, breaks, oil changes, etc. |

Just wanted some outsider opinions on my situation. I have a 95 Olds Ciera with the 3100 eng. 206,000 miles. Needs head gasket job. Probably looking at around 1500 to 2 grand. Zero resale value on the car, so it's keep or junk it time. What do you think? B/c of this problem I currently have no heat and I live in the upper Midwest, so that sucks. |
