Question: oil warning light

when truck is cold the oil warning light comes on but when truck warms up the oil light goes off and stays off,what is the problem.

  You could have an actual base oil pressure issue. You could also have a sending unit issue. Have a base oil pressure test performed - cold and warm. Only then can you really come up with a direction.
