Oil Pump Drive O-ring May Leak Oil From Rear of Engine on Chevrolet Venture

An engine oil leak may develop from the rear of the engine. This is commonly caused by a failed oil pump drive o-ring seal. The leaking o-ring should be replaced to correct this concern.

*Please note: Engine was replace under warranty in Nov 2005 at <40,000 due to this problem. No burning oil again, but no signs of leakage on ground where vehicle parks or on engine itself.
