The engine oil pressure sending unit for your 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe is located at the rear of the engine on the top of the engine block behind the intake manifold. You will need a special socket to remove and install your oil sending unit.

my oil presure gauge goes to 80 and stays there. Is this caused by the oil pressure sensor and if so where is it located on the engine so that I can replace it?
