my oil pressure gauge seems to be too high. ive changed the oil and oil filter but have noticed no drop in the oil pressure. ive also noticed that it seems to lose power and wants to putt a little bit at least until the engine is running at a warm temperature. any ideas?

THERE ARE MANY POSSIBILITIES FOR BOTH COMPLAINTS THE OIL PRESSURE NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED TO SEE IF IT IS WITH IN NORMAL OPERATING PRESSURE WITH A MANUAL GAUGE. AS FAR AS YOU'RE PERFORMANCE ISSUE GOES THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY POSSIBLE COMPONENTS TO LIST AND I WOULD HAVE TO EXAMINE THE DATA PIDS AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE. THE FACT THAT ITS HAPPENING WHEN IT'S COLD MEANS THAT IT IS A OPEN LOOP FAILURE OR THAT IT IS IN CLOSED LOOP TO SOON. BUT THAT IS JUST A COUPLE OF POSSIBILITIES A PROPER DIAGNOSIS IS DEFINITELY IN ORDER.
