the oil pan is leaking alittle bit. i have to add about half quart about every two weeks. this car has about 128,000 miles on it. other than that this car is in perfect condition. is this something to worry about right away or should i get it fixed sooner rather than later. and how much might this cost if a shop does the work? thanks

Use the 'Estimate' feature on this site to help you with pricing for this repair. If you're absolutly shure its the pan, the estimator will give you a good idea. If you're not sure where the leak is coming from, have a shop check it out for you and give you a price based on what they find.

thanks tyreguy, still getting used to this site. appreciate the tip.
Car was taken to a Toyota dealer for regular service and recommended the oil pan gasket be replaced. Haven't seen oil leaking. What determines replacing the gasket? Should I see a leak first?
oil smell burning on exhaust . check under the car and seen oil leak on the pan edges some bolt's are loose.
I went in for an oil change at the dealer and he said i have an oil leak and it "might need an oil pan gasket" replaced. Is it possible for a 2007 camry to already have a weared out oil pan gasket...
...told me it was the rear oil seal and then another mechanic told me it isn't the seal, its the oil pan gasket. How can I tell if its the oil seal or the pan gasket?
