1998 Mazda B4000 Question: Oil pan drain plug 1998 Mazda B4000 4x2

Tonys98, Norfolk, VA, July 21, 2009, 18:58

Could you please tell me where the oil pan drain plug is for my truck. What I think it is I can't get to budge and I do not want to be wrong.
I tried to buy a manual for this truck but could not find one in 4 different auto part stores.

The engine oil drain plug is on the bottom of the engine oil pan. I would doubt that a manual would be of much help here, often they don't show things as basic as an oil drain plug or oil filer. I know it feels like you would be saving some money changing your own oil but when you consider the cost of purchasing oil and a filter and stack that up against a $19.95 oil change the savings may not be very much. And don't forget, what are you going to do with the used motor oil? Used motor oil is considered a hazardous waste and must be disposed of properly.
