what`s the cost to replace the oil pan

    I found the pan at http://www.parts.com $176 and the labor is between 10.4 and 11.6 hours depending on the options on your vehicle.

    I had a leak due to rust on my 99 f 350 super duty 7.3's oil pan, I repaired over a year ago with a $10 fiberglass repair kit and it hasn't leaked a drop since. You must take the time to clean the oil pan THOROUGHLY! A wire brush and some solvent and a lot of time. Then follow the instructions on the fiberglass repair kit.
