Question: oil migartes through the wireing harness

when the oil leak that migrates through wireing harness is corrected will it stop the damage to the components that is conected to it.

    Oil leaks create all kinds of problems, from potential risk of fire to damaging rubber coolant hoses to damaging electrical components. Repair the oil leaks, clean the wiring harness and coolant hoses with engine de-greaser and clean the electrical components with WD40 or electrical component cleaner.
