Was driving and all of a sudden the van started over heating. Filled with water and drove not 10 miles and star y ed to get hot again. -
Noticed the oil filter and oil pan were saturated in oil and just assumed it was the oil filter itself. After changing the filter at the next oil change i noticed the leak didn't subside. Now with 88,000 miles the leak has progressively gotten worse. I hadn't addressed the problem because it wasn't causing a noticeable loss of oil but now the oil pan and filter are soo saturated in oil that its occasionally dripping and it's time to fix the problem before it gets any worse. With how many people reported this same problem I believe the oil filter adapter should be recalled. -
