Question: oil light and gauge drops at idle

i traded my camaro for this truck guy says he had no issue i drive it and while sitting at light gauge drops to nothing then light comes on it seems to have a compresion problems i tried tospin tires wouldnt do it whats wrong with it

    if you have low oil pressure, the gauge will drop and illuminate the light.
    you need to have a manual test performed to verify the oil pressure cold and hot to make sure the engine is in good condition.

    spinning the tires does not mean compression problems. this is a pick up with a small 6 cylinder motor. if you are concerned about compression, have that verified to at a shop.
