1997 Lexus ES300 Question: oil light on

After one hour turnpike driving the oil light came on. I was not in the car and my wife didn't look at the temp guage. Last week a new Air Conditioner compressor was installed, along with the belt and power steering belt.
The Oil dip stick shows full and not milky colored. The
Coolant level is normal but rust colored.
Could the oil light be related to the air-conditioning/ belt replacements?

make sure the wire for the sender is not shorted to ground. also, get a pressure check on the oil pressure. sounds more like you have internal engine problems.
