1994 Isuzu Rodeo Q&A

1994 Isuzu Rodeo Question: Oil leak from engine.

My 1994 Isuzu Rodeo is leaking from the right side of the engine? Is it the head gasket? -
Answer 1
Very hard to say without a physical inspection. A special ultraviolet dye can be added to the engine oil. Then, after running the engine a bit, a black light can be used to see where the dye is showing up in the engine oil leak. This will narrow down the source of the leak. -
Answer 2
Go to the car wash, presure wash your engine try and get all that oil and crud off your engine. be careful with any elecrical parts. drive home, then pop open the hood and check for the leak. -
