how to repair 1997 2.7 v6 oil stand gasket

  You may have to take the oil filter off to see, but there are probably 3 or 4 bolts holding it to the block. You need to be scrupulously clean about regasketing it, and use a thin sealer (not silicone) if there's a paper gasket, and no sealer if there's a rubber O-ring.
  I'm not very familiar with your engine specifically, I'm just giving you good advice about oil filter adapter resealing.
