Question: Oil Leak

 Rookie

I've been told that the 8cy engine is leaking oil, can't remember if the mechanic said it's comming from the front or rear of engine though. This is a AWD/4x4

    Went to hear from experts link at repairpal homepage but did not see any pattern oil leak failures listed. The only way to know or to help is to have inspected again or ask the same tech to refresh your memory. Not enough info here.

    Thanks, I'll take it back to the mechanic, have him put a dye in the oil to see where the leak is coming from

    You have to get it diagnosed and get an estimate from someone who can inspect the car himself. There are many places and engine can leak.
