My first thought is possibly a quick lube shop might have put oil in the wrong reservoir. Another possiblility is that the radiator, which cools the engine coolant and transmission fluid may be cross mixing. Have the radiator inspected.

Is there coolant in the oil? If so crack or head gasket.

Which engine is in this vehicle? 3.0L V6 or 3.8L V6?

Go back to b-glaste's answer above - do not think cylinder head or head gasket issue, as it would be highly uncommon.
