am i wasteing money using Fram high mileage oil filter

    NO.... Do not skimp on oil filters. There used to be a cheap oil filter called "Group 7".(They still may be in bussniess but I doubt it) New Car Dealers would not warrenty your engine if they found a "Group 7" on a failed engine. Why? There was no inside filter material except for a "tissue" type piece of paper. Fram, GM Ford and alike all use top quality filter material. Fram has the most "quality" choices @ decent prices and is used by many GOOD repair shops all over USA. Not to mention NASCAR and the NHRA....................
