Rookie

1996 BMW328IS is leaking oil when the car is running. It flows from in between the cap and container. The filter is lcoated near the front of the car by the fan. Is this the oil filter and what is the cause?

Journeyman

is the filter tight?make sure it only has 1 gasket on it.
