What kind of motor oil should I put in my car, and also where is the transmission located so that I change my transmission oil

    BMW information is pretty flexible for oil recommendations 20W50 seems to be what would be recommended for southern California weather. Any good name brand oil, doesn't have to be synthetic in my view. I like Chevron, but any oil changed every 3000 miles will make that engine last a long time. The transmission oil and change procedures depends what transmission is in your car and there are several options for your year. .
