MasterThe oil change light is designed to illuminate approximately every 5,000 miles on your Explorer. To reset it after an oil change Press Set up to access the System Check Function,press and release the reset control to display "oil life XX% Hold Reset New", press and hold the reset button for three seconds to display "if new oil hold reset", press and hold reset to display "oil life set to 100 %"
