oil change on 2001 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

anything tricky about changing the oil? Normal drain, change filter, refill?

Yes, it is a simple process. Use a quality oil filter and an approved diesel oil. Zee

Make sure you use a 505.00 spec oil...Other than that its straight forward.

Hi, Thanks & no sweat--Lucked out with a friend who suggested the same spec oil----of course after 10 years all the fractured plastic crap under the car was barely held on by two screws!! Tim
