oil change on 2003 Ford Explorer

I have a Ford Explorer 2003 with 120.000 miles. What kind of motor oil I shuold buy to do the oil change by miself. Thx.

I recommend using Mobil1 pure synthetic high mileage motor oil. You should probably use 10w-30. Make sure to buy a new oil filter as well when you do your oil change...

thats not alot of miles stay with the 5w/30 sinthetic

I always use synthetic as it starts the same winter or summer.

The "change oil" message is displayed every time I start the SUV. I just got an oil change. Why is this message coming up?
Had the oil pump changed about 8 months ago and now it has gone bad again. What would cause this? Is there something else that drives the oil pump like a gear or belt?
