oil and rattling noise on 2003 Nissan Maxima

My car seems to eat oil periodically, Sometimes a quart every two weeks somtimes a quart every month and even every two months....it also makes a rattling noise when you accelerate....

probably not eating it so much as leaking it. check the oil cooler area that is in back of the oil filter. or the oil pan area
