Oil and Filter on 1997 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup

Hello, my mother in law has a 97 chevy 1500.. i was just curious to know what kind of oil filter the truck uses.. and exactly how many litres of oil it takes.. thank you!

Hello, the manufacturer recommends; Oil Filter ACDelco Part# PF52. And the quantity required with filter is 4.5 quarts (4.3 Liters) of SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil.

on a 5.7 liter the filter is pf 1218 and it takes 5 quarts of oil
