OEM shocks or aftermarket? on 2004 GMC Yukon

I have a 04 Yukon, all-wheel drive. My front shocks are done. Should I replace all 4 with factory parts or can I improve my ride by purchasing aftermarket shocks for the same or cheaper price? If so, what brand and or model?

If you have enjoyed the way your vehicle rides, drives, and handles until now, stay with what you already know...the OE shocks. Upgrading to an aftermarket product can be beneficial or problematic- its hit-or-miss based on your selection and the end result.

I wasn't dissatisfied with the ride. But if I could improve it for the same cost as replacing, I would rather do that. If I do decide to go aftermarket, do you recommend a particular brand?
