 Rookie

my overdrive light is flashing on my truck. it has never done this before and just started yesterday. what does it mean?

   Master

  It means that a transmission malfunction is detected, I'd recommend to have it diagnosed by a qualified mechanic to prevent any further damage to the transmission.

  it could simply mean the switch is bad we have same vehicle , same thing happened , if you just look in the book at autozone it will tell you how to test it
